Updated Gearcraft 5.0
From NFBSP
Changelog for Gearcraft 5.0 improvements:
-Set the boundaries of the grid at -16384 to 16384 since the compiler and engine limits map size to these coordinates -Gearcraft now renders alpha transparency on world brushes and models. This helps a lot when working with special textures (clip, nodraw, trigger, etc) and tree models as they no longer show up completely solid -Included new translucent special tools textures -Added a new and greatly improved FGD that includes many missing features -Fixed the standard Run Map dialog so it always works. It was completely broken before -Changed light_spot and light_environment entities (in fgd) to use the light cone model (included) from the source engine to make it extremely easy to angle lights the way you want them -Fixed spelling errors on interface options menu -Increased the max allowed draw distance for the world and models to 150000 -Changed the default texture scale from 1.0 to 0.5 (most Nightfire textures match the 0.5 scale) -Removed CSG from run map dialog and build programs tab since Nightfire doesn't need WAD files -Set default EXE arguments to default to windowed mode with developer mode on and sv_cheats set to 1 for easy debugging and testing -Reversed the 'Nightfire Level Editor' string from Tres in the title bar back to "Gearcraft" -Made the Game Configurations dialog box easier to set -Changed strings 'Worldcraft RMF' and 'Generic Map' to 'Gearcraft Compressed RMF' and 'Nightfire Map File' -Fixed a couple annoying compile errors in BBSP such as max bsp depth being hit for no apparent reason and other issues
